Dr Georgia Chaseling will be the guest speaker at Heartbeat Victoria’s 2024 Annual General Meeting.
Dr Chaseling is a cardiovascular and thermal physiologist with experience investigating the influence of heat and exercise on thermal, cardiovascular, and perceptual outcomes amongst clinical populations.
Dr. Chaseling is a postdoctoral research fellow on the NHMRC Synergy Grant, SOLVE-CHD, which is a multidisciplinary research project looking to transform the post-discharge care for people with heart disease across Australia.
Within the SOLVE-CHD program, Dr Chaseling leads a number of projects researching the negative impacts of environmental extremes on adverse cardiovascular outcomes for people with cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Chaseling is part of the Australian Society for Medical Research NSW Committee, chairs the Heat and Health Research Incubator Early Mid Career Research Committee, and holds a position in the Scientific and Social Committee within Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association.
